MCN & Volition’s Volonté Film Fest
Create a 6 to 8 minute original short film. The theme for the contest is volition “free will.”
Deadline: Before November 8th, 2012 at Noon. The winner will be announced on November 9th, 2012.
1st Prize Winner will receive: $250.00
Guidelines:
- Must be a GMU undergraduate student
- No nudity
- Cursing is allowed
- Must follow theme
- No racial slurs
- No copyrighted material
- Files must be in mpg2 format
Note: Your film will be disqualified if you do not follow these guidelines.
All files must be brought on a flash drive to MCN in the Student Media Office.
A typed script (in American standard play format), one page typed summary explaining creative process (including makeup, set design, costume design, etc), and a typed list of the cast and crew involved in the film.
The script, summary of creative process, and production photos must be sent to Volition at: volitionmagazine@gmail.com with the subject line: MCN & Volition Film Contest 2012 Entry.
All films submitted will be aired on MCN. The top three films will be shown at Volition’s Open Mic Night in November.
